Biology 5313 - Teaching Anatomy

    The Teaching Anatomy course is a course that accompanies the anatomy teaching assistant position. Students hired as teaching assistants for Biology 2315 - Human Anatomy can register for this course. Participation as a teaching assistant, attendance at the weekly staff meeting, teacher training sessions, and the structured preparation involved in the teaching program form the core of the commitment associated with this course.


    Students interested in becoming anatomy teaching assistants need to meet the following criteria:

1) Must have completed Biology 2315 - Human Anatomy

2) Complete an application (applications are available at the final exam each semester).


    Twenty-four new apprentice teaching assistants are selected for fall semester and twenty-four for spring semester. The twenty-four apprentice teaching assistants will join a staff of 12 mentor teaching assistants.
